Herb Crostini

1 loaf U-bake French Bread
4 - 5 T olive oil
1 t paprika, dried oregano, dried thyme, garlic granules or powder, salt

Cut the bread into 1/4" slices. Place in a large shallow bowl. Drizzle the bread slices with a tablespoon or so of olive oil. Toss gently. Repeat until all the slices have a bit of oil on them.

Sprinkle each herb and spice on the bread slices a bit at a time, tossing after each sprinkle.

Arrange the bread slices on an un greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 5 - 7 minutes. Turn the slices over and bake for another 5 - 7 minutes. Let cool completely on a rack. Store in a plastic bag. They will keep for several weeks.

Notes:

I bought these crostini at QFC many times before deciding I could make my own cheaper and with less salt. I played around and finally came up with this recipe which is a good approximation to the original.
